Fully restored fireplace originally from Leith Exchange/Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh which was built in 1783 though we believe this is from the extension which was built in 1809.
The mantel was badly damaged and stored in a basement in around 1989 where it sat until it came to us.
It has undergone an extensive restoration, and although the repairs are visible it only adds to its character and history.
